Mr. Wilson manages LTA's Los Angeles office and serves as business and legal in-house corporate counsel handling talent buying, contract negotiations, rider review, and business transactions. He practices in all areas of entertainment transactional law, entertainment litigation, and general business transactional law. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the highest profile entertainers in the business including Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, and Aretha Franklin.
During his practice, Mr. Wilson introduced several new and innovative approaches to deal making in both the record and music publishing industries. He has authored several articles on music copyright and entertainment law, appeared as a guest copyright expert for the NBC Television network, and has lectured and spoken at Harvard University and Harvard Law School on entertainment law. Mr. Wilson has also been a featured panelist for various Entertainment and Sports Law Symposiums, prominent law schools, and the prestigious Oxford Roundtable held at Oxford University.
